Today, technology plays a significant role in providing a world-class education for all learners. Attaining the instructional and curricular goals outlined in the district's Integrating Technology Plan requires the appropriate use of technology by both staff and students. Technology literacy provides students with access to an ever-changing world dependent on information. In order to participate in our technological age effectively, students must be information navigators, criticalthinkers and analyzers, creators of knowledge and communicators using a variety of technologies. Integrating technology instruction throughout the curriculum provides the essential skills necessary to meet world-class standards.
The Instructional Technology Department is responsible for planning, support, deployment and implementation of computers, software, network infrastructure, voice communications, and a myriad of other systems that support these areas
